Videos making the rounds online shows how popular Nollywood actors, Desmond Elliot, Eniola Badmus and other Lagosians jubilate as Tinubu emerges president-elect.
Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu declared Ahmed Bola Tinubu the winner of the 2023 presidential election.
Tinubu polled a total of 8,794,726 to defeat his closest rivals and candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP who scored 6,984, 520 and 6,101,533 respectively.
However, Desmond Elliot who has been in the Lagos State House since April 2015 till date under the party APC took to the street to celebrate Tinubu’s victory.
Sharing a video with fellow Lagosians, he wrote, “Congratulations Naija Renewed Hope !!! JAGABAN Hope Renewed !!!”
