Some netizens have expressed their disappointment in award-winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid after he was spotted attending an event in Ghana while elections are ongoing in Nigeria.
In the video making the rounds online, Wizkid, a Grammy award winner who is well known for putting the country name on the world map due to his Afrobeats classics shows off his drumming skills in Ghana while Nigerians are performing their civic responsibilities by voting for their preferred candidates.
Note that the presidential and National Assembly elections held in Nigeria on the 25th of February, 2023, with some states still carrying out the process.
Nigerians have expressed disappointment in their favourite celebrities most especially Wizkid, Davido and Burnaboy who kept mute during the elections.
However, social media users lamented bitterly on how the singer was uninvolved in the process as a viral video captures him at an event in Ghana.
It was gathered that the “Essence” hitmaker was at KillBeatz (a Ghanaian music producer) mum’s burial.
