The award extends Wizkid‘s record as the most awarded Nigerian artist at the NAACP Image Awards, with 5 wins.
Meanwhile, Chris Brown also won Best Male Artist, making it two wins for the ‘Under The Influence’ singer in a single night.

In another development, 2023 Nigerian Grammy winner Tems won her first NAACP Image award. She won Outstanding International Song for her track ‘No Woman No Cry’ which she recorded for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie.
