In a recent statement, popular Nigerian singer, Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi professionally known as Bella Shmurda revealed how Grammy award-winner, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid changes his life with a single advice from him when they both met in Ghana.
Bella Shmurda who breaks into the Nigerian music industry with his hit song “Vision 2020” with a follow-up remix that featured rapper Olamide disclose the advise during an interview while on the Afrobeats podcast hosted by music executive, Adesope Olajide.
According to Bella Shmurda when he meets Wizkid couple of months ago in Ghana he advised him to always preserve himself and by extension it has transformed his life for good.
He said Wizkid told him that he is talented and therefore should never be on every records or clubs rather he should be more focused on dishing out music.
In his words; “I met Wizkid in Ghana and I asked him for an advice. He told me to preserve myself. He said I have a very good voice but my voice shouldn’t be everywhere or on every song simply because I am an artiste, he said I can’t be seen in every club.That I should just preserve myself and give fans just the music”.
