"Thank God I’m free. Thank God for Great counsel", Singer Tems speaks on her Achievements


Popular Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi better known as Tems is one of the trending conversations on popular microblogging platform, Twitter as speaks on the success of her music career over the past few years while sharing cryptic post about Christianity among others. 

Taking to her verified Twitter, Tems who has bagged several musical nominations and awards that include, BET, Grammys among others combined with hit songs thanks God for his music career that she kickstarted in 2018 as she stated that the year 2022 has been absolutely nothing but amazing.

Speaking on her personality as an entertainer, Tems affirms that she is who see is and doesn’t care whether people seem to believe in that or not. She said that she is not a Christian saviour and didn’t come as an artiste to uphold anyone beliefs about God.

Tems in a series of post tweeted; ” Thank God I’m free. Thank God for Great counsel. Thank God for good health and growth. Not many can take out time even if they wanted to. They’re doing it cuz they have to. We Thank God. The foundation has been set.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but I am not your Christian saviour. I didn’t come here to uphold your beliefs about God. I will not fit into this box you try to put me in. I won’t satisfy you in that area please find the person that will. Or ask yourself why you care.

So much growth this year. I’m here for my fans. I have worked so much on myself. It will all make sense when it happens. I started in 2018. Look at what music looks like today. Still Next level coming. I’m just about to start.

I don’t brag because I’m not playing the same game. I don’t need to brag, I am who I am whether you know it or not. It is the house that is built on the solid rock that will withstand the storm. I’m trying to impress myself not you.
