Nigerian music producer Vtek, who used to be PSquare’s producer and composer before the duo split up, has spoken up on working with the most famous Nigerian duo in the past.
In a podcast interview with Jahbless, Vtek reveals that he produced a lot of PSquare’s songs back in the days and he was the brains behind their 2014 viral hit ‘Personally’ but was never credited for producing the track.
He also mentions that PSquare’s smash hit single ‘Shekini’ was produced by him and that he wrote the chorus and first verse and provided background vocals as well.
He explains PSquare was able to tour North Africa then because of the success of ‘Skekini’ in the region.
Speaking further, he says he produced all but two songs on PSquare’s album and at the time he was still an underground producer.
